Brain Injury Awareness Dinner
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month! While BIAWA is active in raising awareness year-round, there is a strong focus on outreach during March, including a community dinner hosted by BIAWA with live entertainment and a fun raffle!
Walk, Run & Roll
Every spring, 400+ participants of all abilities come together to walk, run, or roll along a 1-mile or 5k route in Seattle. This exercise is the second largest fundraiser for BIAWA, with proceeds going directly towards BIAWA’s services to support survivors and raise awareness of Brain Injury.

Brain Injury Art Show
BIAWA curates an annual exhibit showcasing artwork by survivors of Brain Injury. For many survivors, artistic creation is a therapeutic outlet for cognitive recovery and mental health restoration. The show offers a space for them to proudly show their work. This year’s exhibit is on display at the Seattle Art Museum in the Community Gallery until July 22.

BrainRide
Each summer, 100 participants cycle along a beautiful PNW course in support of BIAWA. The post-ride celebration includes a delicious catered lunch! This year’s event will start and end at Postdoc Brewing in Redmond, with 10-mile and 20-mile loops through Marymoor Park.
B.I.G. Brain Injury Gala
BIAWA’s Brain Injury Gala (B.I.G.) is the nation’s largest fundraiser for Brain Injury! Every fall, BIAWA welcomes over 500 guests for an inspiring evening that highlights the determination of survivors and the support that BIAWA offers them. Guests enjoy a hosted reception and silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner and energetic live auction. This year’s B.I.G. event will be held at the Westin Seattle on Saturday, November 2.
